“Need to….”Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Cricket Transformation Urged By Ex-Australia Star For BGT

Team India’s star opener, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has been going through one of the toughest patches of his career. The southpaw scored more than 700 runs against England in the recently concluded test series.

However, one of the former players from Australia suggested that Yashasvi Jaiswal needs to comeback with a new range of shots to tackle pace and bounce in Australia. Team India is set to play in a five-match test series later this year.

As team India will be touring Australia later this year, Jaiswal will be one of team India’s key players to watch out for in terms of the plans he comes up with to face the deadly trio of Starc, Hazelwood, and Cummins.

In his YouTube channel, speaking of Jaiswal Hogg, he said, “Jaiswal played exceptionally well. Now that he is going to play when he comes here (Australia), he is going to have to change his game. Maybe look to use the pace while playing hook-and-pull shots instead of hitting hard. If he is going to be aggressive, he needs to add a new range of shots to his repertoire because of the pace and bounce on the surfaces.”

Hogg also spoke about another youngster from Team India, Sarfraz Khan, who finally made his international debut for Team India against England in the recently concluded series. Sarfraz Khan had a good series with the bat as the Mumbaikar scored 200 runs at an average of 50.00, including three half-centuries.

Speaking on Sarfraz Khan Hogg said that he’s worried about Sarfraz Khan’s game against the Pacers. However, some of his shots suggest that he is working on his game against the pace bowling.

Hogg said, “Sarfaraz Khan, I was worried about his game against fast bowling. But with some of the pull shots he has played against sheer pace, I can say that he has been working on his game. I think he is just about ready to take on Australia’s pace attack with some of the pull shots he has played.”
