The former Indian wicket-keeper batter Parthiv Patel Parthiv Patel has given a huge statement on the two of the greatest IPL Captains MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. Patel said that Rohit Sharma has exhibited superior leadership skills in handling high-pressure Indian Premier League matches compared to MS Dhoni.
According to Parthiv, Rohit has demonstrated better decision-making abilities in critical moments within the competitive tournament. Both Dhoni and Rohit have enjoyed immense success as captains in the IPL, with each leading their respective teams, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, to five IPL titles.
While speaking to Jio Cinema, Parthiv Patel said,”When there’s a tense match, sometimes wrong decisions or blunders are made. But the hallmark of Rohit Sharma’s captaincy is that in the last 10 years, you don’t remember that he made a blunder.”
Parthiv Patel further pointed out that while MS Dhoni has been a successful captain for the Chennai Super Kings, there have been instances where his decisions have resulted in setbacks for the team.
Dhoni has made blunders like giving Pawan Negi an over, but if you see Rohit, you’ll never see a blunder. Keeping the process simple is something that Dhoni advises but we see Rohit practice that in games,” Parthiv added.
Former Indian star bowler Zaheer Khan has also backed Rohit Sharma and said that the ex MI skipper has been phenomenal over the season.

“You can plan for a game in advance but nobody knows how proceedings will unfold in the middle. He (Rohit) acts according to situations and takes decisions, and many times they are different from what may have been planned in the run-up to the game,” Zaheer said.
