MP’s father drops a massive statement on Rinku Singh’s engagement with…

The news of Rinku Singh’s engagement with Priya Saroj, a Samajwadi Party’s MP, had been denied by the woman’s father. Multiple media houses and journalists claimed the engagement. Some even congratulated Rinku on social media. Tufani Saroj—Priya’s father and also a three-time MP and currently an MLA from Kerakat, Jaunpur—also claimed that the news was “completely wrong.” However, negotiations were being carried on between the two families for the couple.

“Priya is in Thiruvananthapuram for some work and no, her engagement with Rinku Singh has not happened. Yes, the talks are on between the families but the news of engagement is completely wrong,” Tufani told India TV Digital.

Saroj is a member of the Lok Sabha. She represents the Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh. Saroj is a lawyer by education and comes from a noble political background.

Meanwhile, top seamer Mohammed Shami returned to the India squad after the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the15-member team for T20Is against England.

Rinku next will appear in an international match against England in the T20 series to commence from January 22.

Five matches of T20 will be played on January 22 in Kolkata. The second and third matches will be held on January 25 and 28 at Chennai and Rajkot, respectively. The fourth game of the series will be played on January 31 in Pune. The series will conclude with the fifth match to be played in Mumbai on February 2.
