After the swashbuckling performance against India Hardik Pandya shared a special tweet where the player combined two photos – one with an injured frame, the 2nd one showing the solid comeback. Amir replied to this tweet and wrote,”Well played brother.”
Hardik Pandya tweet on his setback and comeback was reference to his back injury which not only forced this player to stop bowling but also kept him away from cricket for some months.
Pandya also discussed this incident with his teammate Ravindra Jadeja on BCCI TV. Then Pandya said,“I can remember those scenes where I was taken on a stretcher and it was the same dressing room. So there is a sense of achievement with whatever has happened. As players, we get the fruit but I would like to credit Nitin Patel and Soham Desai (team physios) who have worked so hard on me for my comeback.”
