MI vs KKR, IPL 2024: Hardik Pandya Blames Batters For The Huge Loss Against KKR In Do Or Die Situation

Mumbai Indians made their fans disappointed once again as they lost against Kolkata Knight Riders at their fortress, Wankhede Stadium by 24 runs. After recovering from the setbacks while batting in the initial overs, KKR made a strong comeback and kept their dominance against Mumbai Indians.

MI required 170 runs on a batting track but their batter failed miserably against a star-studded bowling lineup of KKR. Suryakumar Yadav was the highest scorer for the home team where he made 56 runs but he did not get any assistance from other batters and Mumbai was bowled out at 145 runs.

The captain of Mumbai Indians Hardik Pandya addressed the broadcasters after the match where he talked about the loss. He blamed batters and lack of partnership for this extreme loss.

Hardik Pandya said,” I mean obviously in the batting inning, we couldn’t form partnerships and kept losing wickets, in T20s if you don’t form partnerships, it will cost you. Not much, there are a lot of questions but that will take some time to answer but for now, not much to say.”

He praised the Mumbai bowlers and said that the management would analyze what went wrong for them. He further added, “As you mentioned, the bowlers did a fantastic job, the wicket got a little better after the first innings, and the dew came on. We will go through the game and see what could we have done better. You keep fighting, that is what I tell myself, never leave the battlefield, tough days come but good also come here, it’s challenging but challenges make you better.”
