MHA Denied Visa, PTI Tweeted The Fake News

Press Trust Of India (PTI) spread fake news on 6 December 2022 from their official Twitter handle. They have provided the news that the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved the visa of the Blind Pakistan Cricket team for the Blind World Cup 2022, which started on 5 December 2022.

“MHA clears issuance of visa to 34 players and officials of Pakistan blind cricket team for World Cup in India: Officials,” Tweeted by PTI.

This news spread like wildfire in both nation’s media houses that India has issued a visa to the Pakistan Blind Cricket Team. But the PBCC has confirmed that the news is fake, and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has denied the team’s visa due to some political grounds.

On 7 December 2022, around 2:30 pm Pakistani team collected the passport from Indian High Commission, but no visa was issued for the Pakistani team. However, this news from PTI is like adding salt to the burn of the Pakistani Blind Cricket Team.

This is very disheartening news for sports-loving people, and because of political grounds, it isn’t very pleasant if any nation does this type of propaganda.
