The cricket world once again lauded the talent of Mayank Yadav. The pacer from Delhi was awarded Man of the Match for his second consecutive match of the IPL.
Yadav was so good with the ball that even opposition skipper Faf du Plessis praised the youngster for his pace and accuracy. Mayank Yadav picked up three wickets, giving away just 14 runs.
Speaking about Mayank Yadav, Faf du Plessis said,As with any new young fast bowler, it’s an action you haven’t faced before, and he has the pace behind it. His pace was great, but more impressive was his ability to control length and bowl with discipline. It’s pace combined with accuracy.”
Mayank Yadav won the man of the match award in his second consecutive game. The young pacer has bowled 17 deliveries with more than 150 speed, which is the most by any bowler in the tournament.
Mayank Yadav’s heroics with the ball have propelled LSG to the fourth spot in the points table. The team has won two out of their three matches so far.
