Mayank Yadav to be replaced by this Indian pacer in IPL, Check out

Lucknow Super Giants are having a hard time getting their main fast bowler, Mayank Yadav, ready for the 2025 IPL season, so they’re thinking about other choices. Some videos from the LSG training camp suggest that Shardul Thakur, the experienced Indian all-rounder, might join the team soon. Shardul, who played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) last IPL season, was seen at the LSG training camp on Sunday, wearing the team’s jersey.

CSK let Shardul go before the IPL 2025 auction last year, and no teams bid on him, so he wasn’t bought. But Shardul might get another chance, as he’s been playing really well in domestic games this year.

During Mumbai’s Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy games, Shardul took 15 wickets in nine matches, averaging 24.53. The all-rounder also did well in the Ranji Trophy, grabbing 35 wickets in nine matches at 22.62.

LSG Having Trouble Getting Mayank Yadav Ready

India’s fastest bowler, Mayank Yadav, probably won’t be able to play in Lucknow Super Giants’ first few IPL games because the BCCI’s medical team in Bengaluru hasn’t declared him fit yet.

Mayank, who played his first T20I for India last year against Bangladesh, got everyone’s attention with his super-fast bowling, which reached almost 97 miles per hour.

A BCCI source said that Mayank should be fit soon, but he might miss the first two or three IPL games. He’s just started bowling at the NCA and will slowly increase how much he bowls.
