Maxwell makes a bold revelation of Virat Kohli’s scary fans interaction

It is said that cricket is a religion in India, and the worship of cricketers in this country is larger than anyone else. Among the dominators in Indian cricket is Virat Kohli, who has a lot of fans. Sometimes, the fans even cross their limits to meet or just have a glance at the superstar. But that is not all; what it feels like for Kohli or other such stars to run this course is different. Now, Australia star former player of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Glenn Maxwell has shed some light on the way it goes for players like Kohli dealing with these fans.

Maxwell remembered one moment in which he was moving to the RCB team hotel along with Kohli after a practice session when some people became crazy fans to hound the two. Maxwell recounted that it actually turned into a very tough scene for him because the bunch of fans would just go so crazy over Kohli that they made the situation so annoying.

“We had a training session within me and him went reasonably early to training, got all our stuff done. I think it was an optional session, so we batted together, batted for a while, finished up and said, ‘Oh. We can get a car back to the hotel. ‘We jumped in a car and immediately alarm bells were going off in my head that this is probably not a good idea. We had security in the front seat of the car and-car behind us full of police,” Maxwell told LISTNR’s podcast.

“Chinnaswamy stadium was emptied to go outside, driving out. Suddenly people realize Virat is there inside and punches on the window, like beating up his car. They were trying to get his attention and get him to look at them. I am surprised how this car did not have dents all over it. This was so uncomfortable. I just looked at him and I said, ‘How do you deal with this on an everyday basis and he sort of shrugged off like it’s what I go through. It’s a scary way for him to live,” he added.
