Matthew Hayden Picks His 15-Member Indian Squad For The ODI World Cup, No Place For Chahal, Kuldeep And Tilak Varma

Former Indian opener Matthew Hayden who was known for his destructive batting now acts as an expert out of the field. Recently, the player picked a 15-member Indian squad for the ODI World Cup. Surprisingly, he left out Kuldeep Yadav, the star spinner who has been brilliant these years.

Alongside the expected choices, he has opted for all-rounder Axar Patel over Kuldeep Yadav. Yuzvendra Chahal also finds no place in Hayden’s lineup as the former Australian opening batsman has favored the inclusion of another all-rounder Shardul Thakur.

Not only this, Hayden has picked two backup wicket-keepers Sanju Samson and Ishan Khan in his ODI World Cup squad. He said that for him Sanju Samson should get a chance ahead of Tilak Varma in the World Cup. Suryakumar also gets a place among his picks.
