Liked what I….” Hardik Pandya gives a huge statement on MI bowlers after their disappointed performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad

Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya showed faith in his bowlers after they were taken to cleansers by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hardik Pandya said that he liked what he saw, in spite of Sunrisers Hyderabad posting the highest ever total in the history of the IPL against Mumbai Indians.

After winning the toss, Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandaya elected to field first, but Sunrisers Hyderabad in turn posted a huge total of 277/3. Later on, they restricted Mumbai Indians to 246/5 to register their first victory of the season.

Speaking at his post-match presentation, Hardik Pandya said, “The wicket was good. I think SRH batted really, really well. It was tough for the bowlers. 277. No matter how good or bad you bowl, if the opposition gets 277, that means they batted very well. We tried as a bowling unit but couldn’t get the breakthroughs. We could have tried a few things, but we have a young bowling attack. I liked what I saw.”

Speaking about his latest debutant, Maphaka, Hardik Pandya said that the pacer showed great intent and has the skillset to excel in the near future.

Hardik said, “I think he was fantastic, you know. He came into your first game and got overwhelmed by this kind of crowd, and he showed he had the heart.

Even though he went for runs, he looked alright; he wanted to back up his skill set, and that’s something that’s fantastic. He has the skillset, just that he needs some game time.”I think he was fantastic, you know. He came into your first game and got overwhelmed by this kind of crowd, and he showed he had the heart.
