IPL 2023 has moved towards its final stage, and soon the eyes of the fans will be on the final of the World Test Championship. Team India has to play the final of the World Test Championship against Australia at the Oval ground in London. The Indian team is busy preparing for the WTC Final 2023, but difficulties surround Rohit Brigade.
The first batch of the Indian players already leaves for England. In this first batch, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, pacer Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat, and all-rounder Shardul Thakur besides the support staff led by Rahul Dravid, are included.
The players of Team India will reach England in two or three batches to participate in the WTC final. The players whose teams have reached the playoffs of IPL will reach England later.
Players from teams that reach the IPL playoffs but do not reach the final will depart for England after completing the Qualifiers. They are likely to fly out on 24th May. The last lot of players will depart on 30th May, after the conclusion of the IPL final 2023, which will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium on 28th May.
The Indian team has reached the final of the World Test Championship for the second time in a row. In the first season, India lost to New Zealand in the final match, and the team’s captaincy was in the hands of Virat Kohli. BCCI is also planning for a practice match.
The Indian squad has two wicketkeepers, i.e., Ishan Kishan and KS Bharat, against Australia. Many former cricketers and experts believe Ishan Kishan should be included in the playing 11 in the final match.
A question related to this was asked to former India selector MSK Prasad. He was asked whether Ishan Kishan could debut in the WTC final or if the India team would go with KS Bharat.

Answering this question, he said,” Wicket-keeping is very important in Test cricket. I think Team India will give a chance to KS Bharat in the playing XI.”
He further said,” KS Bharath has toured overseas with India before. Are. He was part of the team along with Rishabh Pant for the overseas tour in 2017–18. KS Bharat has the potential. He is the best wicketkeeper batsman.”
