Former Indian legendary off-spinner has given his verdict on the comparison of star Indian batter Virat Kohli and Pakistan’s run-machine Babar Azam. There have been several comparisons between these two batters regarding their records, milestones, and even shot selection. However, like other cricket fans and experts, Harbhajan Singh feels that Virat Kohli is an established and complete batter while Babar Azam needs to do a lot of things to reach that level.
Harbhajan expressed that Kohli has already reached the realm of exceptional players, whereas Babar has more ground to cover and he should improve his batting skills in T20 cricket.
While speaking to his Youtube Channel, Harbhajan Singh said, “Virat Kohli has established himself as a great, while Babar Azam still has a lot to do. He will reach there someday, as he is a wonderful player. He is very good in Test cricket, but maybe T20 doesn’t suit him a lot.”
The former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar shared the conversation with Harbhajan Singh on his Youtube channel and gave his reply on the comparison of Babar Azam and Kohli. Akhtar said that the current Pakistan skipper is improving his game in T20 and the critics should not be ruthless on Babar.
“Virat Kohli is the greatest, and Babar Azam is in the making to be the greatest batsman ever. He is trying to get better in T20s. People are behind him for no reason,” Akhtar added.
