Indian opener KL Rahul was struggling to regain his form in the T20 World Cup 2022. In the 4th match against Bangladesh, he played a splendid knock of 50 runs off 32 balls and showed his masterclass inning for the first time in this tournament.
In recent matches, his performance was not up to the mark, and critics suggested picking another player instead of him in the playing XI. He had scored 22 runs in the three games.
Earlier in the practice session, we saw that Virat suggested changing the leg position while playing the shot. It seems that the suggestion of Virat Kohli worked very well for him. And in the press conference, speaking on KL Rahul’s place in the playing XI, head coach Rahul Dravid said we have faith in him and will back him.
“He is a great player, and it will happen in T20Is. He played very well in the practice match against Australia. He is playing very well, and this condition shoots him,” said Rahul Dravid.
