KL Rahul Achieved Special Milestone; As India Won The First ODI Match Against Zimbabwe

Indian team have started their Zimbabwe tour on the expected note. Men in blues have beaten the host by 10 wickets and have shown their authority over Zimbabwe team.

Indian team captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to field first and his bowlers responded well by taking three wickets within first 10 overs, which includes the important scalp of Sean Williams. Host inform batter Sikandar Raza also could not resist against the accuracy of visitors bowlers and thrown his wicket to Prasidh Krishna who surprised him with extra bounce from the surface, after that it was mere formality for Indian bowlers to wrap up the Zimbabwe inning.

Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill found no difficulty in chasing the target of 189 runs posted by the host team. With this win Indian team is leading the series by 1-0 and will clean sweep the series quite easily, if Zimbabwe will not play extraordinary cricket against the visitors.

With this win, Indian stand in captain KL Rahul has achieved special feat . Before this match, he had captained Indian team on four occasions(3 ODI matches and 1 test) but was deprived of victory, now with this win, he has opened his winning account as an Indian captain and Rahul will surely enjoy this victory as it was his first victory as a captain and thus will be a  memorable one for him.
