Jasprit Bumrah drops a massive truth bomb regarding the Critics

Since news broke that Team India is carefully managing Jasprit Bumrah’s playing time, limiting him to just three of the five Tests in their series against England, many questions have come up. After India’s loss in the first game of the series, Bumrah was kept out of the second Test even though the team was already down 0-1. This move weakened the bowling lineup.

But even without Bumrah, Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj really delivered. Their efforts played a large role in India’s impressive 336-run victory, which leveled the series.

Bumrah came back for the third Test and made a statement with a fantastic five-wicket performance. This helped India dismiss England for 387 at Lord’s.

After doing well on the field, Bumrah also had a sharp response for his critics during a media meeting in London. He said that getting his name on the honors board was a good thing, but he knew people would always be talking. He pointed out that in today’s world, it’s all about views and subscribers, and people like to create sensational stories. He accepted that it wasn’t something he could control and was okay with people making money off him, hoping they would at least wish him well.

Bumrah then acknowledged that players will always be assessed based on their current actions, and then used Sachin Tendulkar as someone else who has this happen to. He then commented that as long as he is wearing the India Jersey, people will judge him. Bumrah stated that it is a part of sports. He ended by stating that Sachin Tendulkar had the same thing happen to him, even though he played 200 test matches.
