The Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is uncertain for the upcoming T20 World Cup match against the United States which will take place on Saturday after he missed training because of feeling unwell. The Indian team management decided to protect its main fast bowler because they believe their opening match will be an easy victory according to reports. The Indian white-ball strategy depends on Bumrah who did not practice his bowling at the Friday nets because he needed to take time off.
Mohammed Siraj who joined the squad on Friday night will enter the playing XI if the 32-year-old player does not recover before the game.
Siraj needs to function as the primary replacement bowler because Hardik Pandya will probably take the new ball according to the current situation.
The Indian team will compete in three matches during their February 12 matchup against Namibia and their February 15 encounter with Pakistan and their February 18 match against Holland.
The Pakistan match remains uncertain because of current conditions which make the USA match unimportant for the overall situation.
The Indian team should rest Bumrah against the inexperienced team because they have a busy schedule and face tougher competition in upcoming matches.
The team management considers Bumrah’s presence for the tournament’s crucial stages to be their top priority.
