Indian Test vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah captured the International Cricket Council (ICC) men’s Player of the Month distinction for December. On the women’s side, prize Aldwin to Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland.
Meteorite in all three Test matches, in the last Pots tournament from 2024 to 2025, PotS is the spread in cricketing terms of the three major tests in a bilateral series since at least the ESPN database that can represent the truth; in other words, it is also called into that precious union where someone’s acquaintance with a woman would be arranged for the first time. In Pots, Post 2, and Series 12, Sutherland enjoyed the achievement two times against India and New Zealand, respectively.
“The selection was made by a vote from people from across the globe who were global fans registered at the official website of the ICC, a qualified committee which would be made up of ICC Hall of Famers, former world-skippers, and visiting media,” ICC stated through a press communication.
It was indeed the second such win for both athletes as Bumrah clinched the award based on his outstanding performance of capturing 22 wickets in an average of 14.22” outmuscling competitors Pat Cunmins and Dane Paterson.
“Being selected as ICC Men’s Player of the Month of December makes me feel overwhelmed. I always practically think about how being selected for any individual performance award feels, and also, it also feels good when my efforts do get recognized-” A similar statement released by him, besides, was that the Border-Gavaskar was one of the most hard-fought series in the terms of cricket history. It was about being proud of whatever one does there, performing for his country.
While Sutherland had amassed 269 runs at an average of 67.25 and captured nine wickets in five matches, that accounted to being ahead of India’s Smriti Mandhana and South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba.
“December was a fantastic month for our team, so it obviously felt great to contribute to the team in this way. Our squad has been blessed with a lot of talented performers so I’m sure I can make the most of some opportunities and spend some time out in the middle,” Sutherland said. “They were incredibly important fixtures in view of how the Women’s Cricket World Cup is going to be played, and it was really special to win back-to-back series against India and New Zealand.”
However, their blushes were saved when the duo found recognition back there again. Bumrah has been in contention for the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year Award and the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year.
Similarly, Sutherland stands a chance for ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year as well as the Rachel Heyhoe Flint Trophy for ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year.
