Jasprit Bumrah all set to return for Lord’s test, Check out

Before the Lord’s Test, Jasprit Bumrah, India’s main fast bowler, appeared ready to play again. He practiced hard in the nets, bowling for about 45 minutes before practicing his batting against left-arm spin.

Captain Shubman Gill mentioned at Edgbaston that Bumrah would play again after missing the second Test to manage his workload. During the team’s first practice before the third Test, Bumrah looked good. Likely, Prasidh Krishna will be replaced by Bumrah in the team.

Bumrah slowly bowled at his fastest during practice. Arshdeep Singh, a left-arm fast bowler, worked even harder, running for almost an hour.

The pitch is anticipated to be more hard for batsmen. It is uncertain if India will keep the same team from Edgbaston, which had two spinners and three fast bowlers, with Nitish Reddy as a fourth pace option.

Gill, KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Akash Deep, and Mohammed Siraj did not participate in the practice. Siraj, who played in the first two games, has bowled the most overs among the Indian fast bowlers. While he always tries his best, India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak said that his workload would be managed at some point.

Kotak said that workload management is not only for Bumrah, with every bowler’s fitness and issues being different. He thinks there is enough rest between matches. Also after this match, there is a long gap. He added that Siraj bowls a lot, so his workload management depends on how much he bowled with the red ball before the series. The bowling coach will monitor this.

Among the batsmen, Karun Nair, who has not performed well in the series, and Sai Sudharsan practiced batting for a long time.
