Jasprit Bumrah achieves this elusive milestone in IPL

Jasprit Bumrah, the star bowler for the Mumbai Indians, has been a key player for his team over the years. Since he made his debut in 2013, he’s grown from a promising young talent into a top performer for the five-time champions. Recently, during the match against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025, he broke more records.

The game took place at Wankhede Stadium, where MI batted first and scored 155 runs. When it was time for Mumbai to defend that total, Bumrah stepped up. He took out Shubman Gill and Shah Rukh Khan, helping to shift the momentum in MI’s favor. With those two dismissals, he moved past Bhuvneshwar Kumar to rank fourth in the most bowled dismissals in IPL history.

The match had some rain interruptions, making it challenging for the Mumbai Indians. They got off to a shaky start, losing openers Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma early on. Will Jacks, Suryakumar Yadav, and Corbin Bosch were the standout players, allowing MI to reach 155. Later, Gujarat started their innings slowly, losing Sai Sudharsan in the second over. Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, and Sherfane Rutherford managed to steady the innings before the rain caused further disruptions.
