James Anderson Is On The Verge Of Creating History Against India During Rajkot Match

Team India is ready to face England for the third time in the series. However, this test match is going to be quite special for two of the England players, James Anderson and Ben Stokes.

James Anderson is on the cusp of making history by becoming the first ever pacer to pick up 700 test wickets. James Anderson is currently standing with a tally of 695 wickets and is five wickets away from that milestone.

James Anderson has represented England in 184 test matches, in which he has picked up 695 wickets till now at a phenomenal average of 26.34. So far in his test carrier, he has gone on to pick 32 four-wicket hauls and the same number of five-wicket hauls.
Anderson picked up five sclaps in the previous TEST match he played at Vizag, with the best figures of 3 for 47.

On the other hand, England named their playing 11 on the eve of the test match, just making one change from their previous line-up as they replaced Mark Wood with Shoaib Bashir in the playing 11.

Apart from James Anderson, England’s skipper Ben Stokes is also set to represent England for the 100th time in the longest format of the game.

The third test match of the series is going to start from February 15 in Rajkot, while the fourth and fifth test matches of the series are going to start from February 23 and March 7 in Ranchi and Dharamshala, respectively.
