The wait for Ravindra Jadeja comeback to the national team continues as the all-rounder won’t be there for the upcoming Bangladesh tour. The reason behind his absence is his Knee injury which he got during the Asia Cup 2022.
Earlier it was speculated that the all-rounder would be preferred for both the ODI and the test series but as he is not fully fit a replacement for him will be picked soon. On the Bangladesh tour, both the teams will take against each other for two tests and three ODI series.
According to the sources close to the BCCI the all-rounder is still having some pain and unwellness regarding the severe injury he suffered during the Asia Cup 2022. Because of this injury, Jadeja also missed the 8th edition of the T20 World Cup 2022. He played his last game for India against Hong Kong on August 31.
Cricinfomer wants to inform that India A team also lined up for the announcement. However, the Indian fans are also waiting for the announcement of new selection committee members after the removal of Chetan Sharma.
Coming again to Jadeja, Cricinformer recalls that the all-rounder has been retained by Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2023. There is no doubt in saying that Jadeja will definitely recover from his injury before the IPL 2023 and will be seen playing for CSK.
