‘It is quite unfortunate…’ England’s Great Naseer Hussain Gives A Bold Statement On Virat Prioritizing His Personal Life Over Cricket

Virat Kohli has been the talk of the town over the past few days, as he is all set to miss the third and fourth tests against England. However, despite all this, one of England’s greatest skippers, Naseer Hussain, backed Virat’s decision to prioritize his private life over his professional life.

Virat Kohli, who was earlier unavailable for selection in the first two test matches, is now all set to miss the upcoming matches that are going to be held in Rajkot and Ranchi.
On the other hand, England’s great Naseer Hussain praised Virat Kohli for the contribution that he has made to sport in his career, which has lasted over the span of fifteen years.

Naseer Hussain further praised Kohli, saying that any team would miss a player of his stature. He wished Virat Kohli the best of luck, but he also said that it is quite unfortunate that the fans and pundits of the game will not be able to see the Virat vs. Anderson contest that they have been witnessing over the years.

On the other hand, if Virat Kohli goes on to miss the third and fourth tests, it will create a big batting void in the Indian set-up. Rajat Patidar was named as Virat’s replacement in the first two test matches and was quite impressive in his debut test match.

However, Rohit Sharma and his men will be boosted with the return of Kl Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, both of whom missed the second test match due to injury.

The Indian team will also have the option to try out Sarfraz Khan, who has been piling on the runs in domestic cricket.

The third match of the series between the two teams will start on February 15 in Rajkot.
