‘It is hard for a fast bowler to do..’ Deepak Chahar Emphasise The Struggle Of A Fast Bowler

Team India and Chennai Super Kings pace bowler Deepak Chahar gave insights about gaining strength, saying that strength helps a fast bowler gain pace.

Speaking at a promotional event, Deepak Chahar said that when a fast bowler is going through a rehabilitation process, it takes out a lot of strength from the fast bowler’s body, and they continue to lose strength.

Deepak Chahar further said that it is hard for a fast bowler to do strength training while continuously playing, as it will have adverse effects on their body and they will lose their pace.

Chahar further spoke about the process that he follows, because of which he has been doing well with the bat and the ball.

Chahar even spoke of his batting position, which is at number 8 or 9, in which the player usually gets three or four balls to face, so he has been trying to develop a few shots in his armor that may help him with that cause.

Chahar made his IPL debut in the 2016 IPL season, and so far he has featured in 73 games of the IPL, picking up 72 wickets.

Chahar had a good season with the ball in the previous year of the IPL, as he picked up 13 wickets in 10 matches, giving his team CSK a brilliant start with the ball.

Chahar has been a consistent performer for CSK, and he is hoping to get another good IPL season with the ball, keeping an eye on the upcoming T-20 World Cup.
