“It is all about…”Paras Mahambrey drops a bombshell on Hardik Pandya’s form in the ongoing edition of the World Cup

Team India’s bowling coach is not at all surprised by the kind of resurgence shown by Hardik Panda in the ongoing edition of the World Cup after a below-par performance with both bat and ball in the 17th season of the IPL.
Hardik Pandya has been in tremendous form with the ball, as the all-rounder has so far picked up 5 wickets in 2 matches at a phenomenal average of 10.20 and an economy of 6.37.

Team India’s bowling coach, Paras Mahambrey, feels that Hardik Pandya has full confidence in his ability but is lacking rhythm in the IPL.

Ahead of Team India’s clash against the USA Paras Mahambrey said, “I think one thing I’m definitely sure about is that he has confidence in his ability. Sometimes there’s no rhythm in a tournament. Sometimes, even if you try, the rhythm doesn’t come. It takes time. I think that was a phase where the rhythm didn’t come. As a bowler, you do everything. You bowl, you score goals, you bowl consistently, and you play. So sometimes he would not maintain his rhythm. I think in his case, it was a factor where he was not able to maintain his rhythm.” Paras Mahambrey feels that had Hardik not gotten in rhythm, it would have been a troublesome situation for Team India, but the all-rounder has been training hard in the nets to get his rhythm back.

Speaking about the same Paras, Mahambrey said, “Had it been concerning, he would not have taken any action during that stage. That was somewhat concerning if he failed to work on that. Still, I was positive that I was adhering to the same principles and that his work ethic remained unchanged. In the event that he continues in that manner, the bowler’s rhythm will emerge after one or two games. He is quite knowledgeable about his bowling because he has bowled a lot. He was confident that if his work ethics continued and he continued to bowl and attend nets, the rhythm would eventually emerge. And from what I’ve observed in the last one or two games in which he bowled, you can tell that he has rhythm as a bowler when you compare his IPL rhythm to his current rhythm. That’s it, I believe. Rhythm is everything. And it seems like he’s got the beat down.”

Hardik Pandya’s bowling gives team India much-needed balance, as he can be used as a third pacer by team India if needed.
