Ishan Kishan To Bow Down Before BCCI For The Sake Of IPL, Set To Play This Tournament

Team India’s young wicketkeeper, Batsman, is once again back in the news headlines. Ishan Kishan has been in the news ever since he opted out of India’s tour of South Africa.

Kishan requested a break from BCCI and team management, citing mental fatigue. He has been out of action since then and has not played in competitive cricket.

With the T20 World Cup just around the corner, Ishan Kishan not playing cricket can be a major concern for his career.

However, as per the latest buzz, Ishan Kishan is all set to play a Twenty20 tournament before playing IPL in Mumbai Indians jersey.

As per the report, Ishan Kishan wanted to give some time to his family, which forced him to be out of action in cricket.
But, now Ishan Kishan is going to return to cricket by playing in the Dy Patil tournament before the start of the upcoming IPL season.

On the other hand, India’s head coach, Rahul Dravid, has made it quite clear that Ishan Kishan needs to play some sort of cricket, be it the Ranji Trophy or any other tournament, to make him eligible for selection.

However, Ishan Kishan’s state board of the Jharkhand cricket association made it clear that Ishan did not contact them about playing in the Ranji Trophy.

In recent times, the board of cricket control in India has made it mandatory for players to feature in domestic tournaments who are not in contention or part of India’s squad.

This verdict came after several players like Ishan Kishan,Hardik Pandaya, Krunal Pandya, and Deepak Chahar skipped the Ranji Trophy even though they are currently not playing international cricket.
