BCCI announced its 15-member squad for Asia Cup on 8th August, which marked the return of some star players of India such as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Deepak Chahar. But there were few players who they would make into the Asia Cup squad but they did not.
Among those snubbed players from the Asia Cup squad, one such player is young Indian wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan. Kishan who was left out of the team has now shared a cryptic message via his official Instagram account. Fans are connecting this post with his pain of not being picked for the upcoming tournament.
The left-handed batsmen placed a story on his Instagram with lyrics of a rap song called “Bella-Humble Poet”.
The lyrics of the song which Ishan Kishan shared read: Ke ab aisa ban na nai, bhalle ghayal ho jaana, tujhe fool samjhe koi, toh tu fire ho jana, Bella piche rehna magar sab sambhaal lena tu, in sab aage waalo ki traah na gayaab ho jana, meri baat sun mein hate deke kahan jaaunga, yaa fir esa kahun hate leke badal jaunga.”
This time Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format and Ishan Kishan did not have any remarkable IPL or England tour. This year Ishan Kishan has played 14T20Is in which he has scored 430 runs with an average of 30.71.
