Sanju even scored centuries while opening — proving that this was his best position. But suddenly, to fit Shubman Gill into the XI, Sanju was pushed down to a slow, low-scoring middle-order role where he was never comfortable. Anyone could predict what would happen next.
He struggled and instead of correcting the mistake (putting Sanju back at the top), the management dropped him completely from the T20I side. This didn’t look like planning. It looked like politics.
