The fast bowler for LSG, Mayank Yadav is delighted to win two Player of the Match awards in a row. However, he said that the winning of the team is more important than the personal achievements. While talking about his goal, Mayank said that it is his dream goal to play for India at the national level as soon as possible.
Mayank Yadav’s rapid bowling quieted the Chinnaswamy Stadium crowd and led LSG to a strong 28-run win against RCB in the IPL 2024 match. Yadav highlighted the dismissal of Cameron Green as his favorite moment, emphasizing the challenges of bowling at high speed.
He described the importance of sticking to a strict schedule, which involves eating well, getting enough sleep, and undergoing regular training. He recognized the importance of achieving perfection in various areas to excel as a fast bowler.
“I feel very good, winning two POTM awards, but I am happier that we won both the matches. My aim is to play for India as much as possible. So I feel this is just the start and my main goal is what I am focussed on. [Favourite wicket?] Cameron Green’s. I think to bowl at this speed, a lot of things are important. Diet, sleep, training. If you bowl fast, you have to be perfect in a lot of things. So right now I focus a lot on my diet and recovery,” Mayank Yadav said after winning the Man of the Match against RCB.
