In the 15th match of Indian Premier League 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore faced a one-wicket loss against Lucknow Super Giants at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. LSG successfully chased the target of 213 runs in 20 overs while losing nine wickets, at the last ball of the match.
After Lucknow Super Giants’ victory on the final ball of the game, the mentor of LSG Gautam Gambhir celebrated aggressively and videos of his celebrations went viral on all social media platforms. In one of the videos, he was seen gesturing to keep quiet toward the Chinnaswamy crowd. A moment later he was also captured sharing an intense handshake with Virat Kohli after the match ended.
Later on, the star RCB batter and the former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir met each other in the dressing room and embraced each other warmly. The images of their hug were posted by the official Twitter account of LSG and it went viral among fans in no time.
In one of the pics, the duos are hugging each other, in the other they both are seen talking and sharing words.
The game between LSG and RCB was one of the most dramatic matches in IPL history. Banglore scored 212 runs in their allotted 20 overs with superb fifties by Faf Du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell. While chasing the target, LSG got the early attacks and lost their important wickets but later on Nicholas Pooran(62), Marcus Stoinis(65) and Ayush Badoni(30) helped the team to reach the target.
