IPL 2023: ‘There Is No Intent To Score Runs’, DC Owner Slams The David Warner & Team

Nothing is going right for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League 2023. The team has lost three consecutive matches and after their recent 57-run loss against Rajasthan Royals not only fans and experts but also the owner has shown his concern for the team.

The co-owner of Delhi Capitals, Parth Jindal Jindal made a blunt remark on the batter of David Warner & team and is worried about them not showing any intent to score runs.

Despite his critical remark about the batters, Jindal expressed his support for the team and their potential to improve. He emphasized the need for the Capitals to take ownership and accountability for their performance, as he feels certain aspects need to be looked after.

Jindal came on his official Twitter handle and wrote, “3 games, 3 losses – very tough to see this @DelhiCapitals – not enough intent with the bat and execution lacking in some areas in the field – we have the belief in this bunch – let’s regroup and start fresh from Tuesday – I believe in this team. Come on Delhi!.”

After the match, Warner said that to score 200 runs or to get a massive target, the team needed a better start but unfortunately, they lost two quick wickets which disturbed their momentum. Even after the loss, the DC captain scored a half-century and became the fastest batter to score 6000 runs in the history of the Indian Premier League.
