The fast bowler from England Chris Jordan has been added to the Mumbai Indians team for the remaining matches of the IPL 2023 season. He has been hired as a replacement player but the identity of the player he is replacing has not been revealed yet.

Mumbai Indians led by Rohit Sharma are facing difficulties in the bowling department due to the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson. Now the addition of Jordan will somehow boost the bowling strength of the Mumbai based franchise.

However, Mumbai Indians have not yet made an official announcement, Chris Jordan was seen training with the team members wearing the jersey. There is no news on Jofra Archer’s injury. Earlier this week, it was reported that Archer had undergone a minor treatment on his right elbow in Belgium. But, the England pacer played against the Punjab Kings but was not the part of the playing XI against Gujarat Titans.

Interestingly, the opponent of Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals is at the second spot in the Points Table and will move to top position with a win.
