IPL 2023 is all set to start at the end of this month and before it, the Rohit Sharma-led franchise has unveiled its new jersey before the start of the season. The news was shared by the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians on March 10, Friday and fans went crazy after seeing their favorites in this new jersey.
There aren’t many notable changes because blue and gold are still prominent in new jerseys as well. The jersey has gold stripes on either side and a mixture of bright and dark shades of blue. Mumbai Indians will be hoping to improve this season under Rohit Sharma after only four victories in 14 games played the previous year.
The Mumbai Indians will attempt to win their historic sixth IPL title in the 16th season after a disastrous 2022 campaign. On April 2, Rohit Sharma’s team will begin the season by taking against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
However, Rohit Sharma and the company are dealing with many injury concerns with their prime players. Jasprit Bumrah has been already ruled out from the team with his back injury, on the other side Jyhe Richardson from Australia will also miss some important matches for Mumbai.
Jofra Archer who missed the last season for Mumbai Indians due to an elbow injury is all set to lead the pace battery of the team.
