For the next TATA IPL Season 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians have exchanged fast bowler Jason Behrendorff from Australia. He was purchased by RCB for his base price of INR 75 lakh during the 2022 TATA IPL Auction.
Behrendorff previously played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2022, the Mumbai Indians in 2018, and the Chennai Super Kings in 2021. The left-arm fast has participated in 9 T20 Internationals, taking 7 wickets with a best bowling effort of 4/21.
He will compete for Mumbai Indians in the 2023 Tata IPL, the team for which he made five appearances and took five wickets in 2018.
On December 23 in Kochi, the IPL player auction for the 2023 season will take place.
