IPL 2023: CSK Star Bowler To Return To Field After 7 Months

After being sidelined for more than seven months, the ace Kisi pacer, Kyle Jamieson, hopes to rejoin the New Zealand squad. He had hoped to play in the white-ball matches against Pakistan and India, but that hasn’t happened.

Now Jamieson will be seen competing in the Super Smash to get match-ready for the red-ball series because he has his eye on the forthcoming England Test series.

The 28-year-old will make his domestic comeback during the match between the Auckland Aces and the Wellington Firebirds at Eden Park Outer Oval. Even though the England series is his current goal, he has asked New Zealand cricket management the full authority to look for his future cricket.

Jamieson said,“I’ve been out of the game for seven months, so I think if I look too far ahead it’ll be a little bit silly. I’m very much just trying to play tomorrow and then if we get through tomorrow, we’ll play Sunday.”

“I’m just trying to keep that mindset. It’s obviously the goal to be back in that environment at some stage, but as to when that may be, we’ll let [Black Caps’ coach Gary Stead] and co decide that,” Jamieson said as quoted by stuff.co.nz.

Let us tell you that Kyle Jamieson will also feature for Chennai Super Kings in upcoming IPL 2023. In the mini-auction held on December 23, CSK got this Kiwi star at his base price which is 1 Crore.
