In the 40th match of Indian Premier League 2023, Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Delhi Capitals by 9 runs. After this win, fans are trolling Sarfaraz Khan on social media for his pathetic batting.
Mitchell Marsh(63) and Philip Salt(59) set a stage for the other Delhi batters but after the dismissal of Salt by Mayank Markande there came a huge twist and eventually the game slipped from the hands of DC.
Manish Pandey(1), Priyam Garg(12) and Sarfaraz Khan (9) were totally irresponsible and DC cost them a close defeat after their poor batting. After the match, the fans came on Twitter and did not leave the chance to make fun of Sarfaraz’s inning.
Sarfaraz was not included in the DC starting XI for the match. However, he was later added to the lineup as an impact player after the first innings and took the place of Ishant Sharma.
When Delhi needed the most from this batter, he could only get 9 runs from 10 balls and later he was clean bowled by T Natarajan. Following yet another failure by the DC batter in IPL 2023, fans expressed their dissatisfaction on social media platforms.
