Inspiring RR: Sanju Samson’s Motivational Message after 3rd Straight Loss

Sanju Samson has told his teammates to control the things that are in their hands.

The men in pink suffered their third loss of the season, which has delayed their qualification. In the first eight matches, RR had won seven of them.
However, the recent loss has made things a bit tipsy for them as they have slipped to number 2 in the points table.

In his post-match presentation, RR Skipper Sanju Samson said, “It’s normal to continue considering qualifications; instead, we should concentrate on the things we can manage. I want to remind my teammates that we should concentrate on the tasks at hand. I need to keep the approach in mind and aim to win the upcoming match.”

Samson further went on to say that after their powerplay, they expected the score to be 170, but after their powerplay, they just fell completely flat. Samson also praised Simarjeet, who was the pick of the bowlers for CSK, as he picked up three wickets.

Samson further added, “The wicket seemed to be two-paced and slow after the powerplay. As a result, we fell short of our target score of 170 runs after the powerplay by 20 to 25 runs. Simarjeet was an extremely good bowler. Really, we have no idea what to anticipate from away games. It seemed more sensible to bat first, in our opinion. We believed the second innings would have been slower, but the wicket was better. They knew what to pursue better since they were used to playing here. Because of the dew, chasing is an obvious choice when playing at night. I anticipated that the wicket would slow down in the second innings since the surface gets heated up in the summer.”
