‘India Don’t Care If Pakistan Don’t Come For ODI World Cup 2023 As…’, Ex-Pak Bowler Threatens Ramij Raza Over His Statement

Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Ramiz Raja has recently given a staggering statement on the venue and participation of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. His remark about not going to India for the ODI World Cup has created a muddle among the world’s cricket fraternity.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah earlier dropped a stunner saying that India won’t be participating in the Asia Cup 2023 if it will be organized in Pakistan. He also proposed that PCB should pick UAE as the venue for next year’s Asia Cup. Now former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria has given a hard-hitting reply to Ramiz Raja and said that the PCB is not having the audacity to mark themselves out from the ODI World Cup 2023 happening in India.

While speaking to Urdu News on Friday, the former leggie said,” The PCB does not have enough guts to boycott an ICC event. India, on the other hand, doesn’t care if Pakistan doesn’t come. They have a huge market that generates a lot of revenue. Not traveling to India for the World Cup will have a major effect on Pakistan.”

He further added, “Pakistan will ultimately travel to India for the World Cup. Officials will say that they had no other option as there was pressure from the ICC. It will hurt Pakistan cricket badly if they talk about skipping an ICC event again and again.”

Kaneria further stated a condition according to which teams like Bangladesh and Afghanistan can also boycott Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan.
