IND vs NZ 2022 Live Update 1st T20: Rain Resumes In Wellington, Toss Delayed

Currently, the Indian team is on a tour to New Zealand to play three T20I series and three ODI series matches against the host. Today, India plays the first T20I match against the host at Sky Stadium Wellington.

The toss of the first T20 match between India and New Zealand has been delayed due to a wet-out field, and match officials tried their best to start the match but due to heavy rain, the match wasn’t started. And now the coming from Wellington that match has been abandoned.  

The first match of India vs New Zealand at Sky Stadium in Wellington has been abandoned due to rain without a ball being bowled. Indian team is on a tour to New Zealand to play three T20I match series and three ODIs match series against the host.
The second match of the T20I series will be played on 20th November at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. Now both the teams will try their best to win the next match of the series because they want to take the lead in the three T20I match series.

In this series, regular captain Rohit Sharma, Run-machine Virat Kohli, and opener KL Rahul have been rested from this series and a few new players have been selected for the squad. New players have the great opportunity to show their talent in this series and fixed their place in the regular squad.
