IND vs ENG: Sarfaraz Khan Finally Gets The Call From Team India, These Two Veteran Ruled Out Of The 2nd Test Against England

The second Test between India and England will be played on February 02, 2024, and before it, the host team has had two major setbacks. The star Indian batter KL Rahul and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have been ruled out from the second game.

It has been known that Ravindra Jadeja is suffering from a Hamstring niggle on the other hand, the wicket-keeper batter KL Rahul has got a complaint of right quadriceps pain. The BCCI medical team is monitoring the condition of both of these players and the date of their comeback is still unknown.

The Men’s Selection Committee has included Sarfaraz Khan, Sourabh Kumar, and Washington Sundar in India’s squad. Saransh Jain has been designated as the replacement for Washington Sundar in the India A squad for the third and final multi-day game against the England Lions, which will start on February 1, 2024, in Ahmedabad.

The Indian pacer Avesh Khan is still with his Ranji team Madhya Pradesh and he will join the squad of the Indian test team if needed.

Both KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja had been the standout performers for the team in the first test. KL Rahul got 86 in the first inning, while Ravindra Jadeja contributed with 87 runs along with his five wickets in the whole match.
