IND vs ENG: Hero Of Second Test Win Against England Likely To Be Ruled Out From The Third Game In Rajkot, Here Is The Reason

India won the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam by a margin of 106 runs, thanks to sheer dominance by Yashasvi Jaiswal in the batting department and then Jasprit Bumrah while bowling came with all his appreciable deliveries and grabbed 9 wickets in the match.

Meanwhile, according to the latest report, the star pacer of the team Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be rested in the third match to be played in Rajkot from February 15.

Although there is no official confirmation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Reports suggest that the 30-year-old fast bowler might be given a break for the Rajkot match to ensure his peak performance throughout the extensive five-match Test series at home.

Bumrah was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the Vizag Test where India secured a 106-run victory over England and equaled the series at 1-1. He claimed a six-wicket haul in the first innings and finished with figures of 3/46 in the second innings, playing a pivotal role in India’s crucial win after losing the series opener in Hyderabad despite gaining a 190-run lead.

At the same time, Bumrah is not the only Indian cricketer sitting out the third Test. Veteran Indian batsman Virat Kohli had initially withdrawn from the first two Test matches, citing personal reasons. However, it remains uncertain whether he will be participating in the remaining matches.
