In the 5-match Test series against England, Team India had made a strong comeback. They clinched a decisive win in the second match, securing victory by a margin of 106 runs and equalizing the series at 1-1.

India secured a 106-run victory in the second Test match against England, propelled by three wickets each from off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah.

England showed an aggressive strategy in chasing the 399-run target, but approaching the game in the same way did not work for the visitors. They were unsuccessful this time and were dismissed for 292 runs in 69.2 overs.

Bumrah played a crucial role in getting the win for India. With his impressive 6-45 spell that gave India a significant lead of 171 runs in the first innings. In the second inning, he was also his 3-46, playing a key part in the team India’s victory.

In this match, Bumrah grabbed 9 wickets at the expense of 91 runs. This is the second-best figure by any Indian bowler against England in Test cricket.

In this match, India scored 396 runs with a solid 209-run knock from Jasprit Bumrah. England could only manage to get 253 runs in the first inning and Zak Crawley turned out to be the highest scorer for the team with 76 runs with his bat.

In the second inning for India, Shubman Gill scored 104 runs for the team and helped India set a target of 399 runs.

For clinching nine wickets in his account Jasprit Bumrah has been picked as man of the match.
