Lucknow’s pace bowling sensation Mayank Yadav has been in the buzz after his impressive pace bowling spells in his first two matches of the IPL. Mayank has helped Lucknow win back-to-back matches in the IPL and has picked up six wickets in two matches.
After his impressive bowling display in the IPL, Mayank Yadav is surely going to play for India in the upcoming years, as believed by all the greats of the game.
Adding to that, former England great Michael Vaughan said that it would be ideal for both Mayank and India if he played a season of county cricket.
Michael Vaughan took X and wrote, “It would serve Mayank Yadav and Indian cricket well if they allowed him to play for a county this summer.”
In his second match against RCB, Mayank Yadav had another exceptional day with the ball, where the pacer picked up three wickets, giving away just 13 runs in his four overs.
In his post-match presentation, Mayank said, “I feel very good about winning two POTM awards, but I am happier that we won both matches. My aim is to play for India as much as possible. So I feel this is just the start, and my main goal is what I am focused on.”
