‘If I Can Trouble Kohli And Rohit, I Can Bowl To Any Batter In This World’, IPL Star Looking For Maiden India Call-Up

In IPl 2022, newly announced Gujarat Titans made headlines while clinching their first title, in the first season only.

Under the coaching of Ashish Nehra, the team had a great bowling display and Mohammed Shami was their key speedster. On the other hand, the spin department was into the hands of furious afghanistan bowler Rashid Khan. However, the tall young man from Tamilanadu, R Sai Kishore also impressed everyone with his bowling technique and proved to be a tricky one for the batters to play.

During an interview with Sportskeeda, Sai Kishore said that bowling to Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli gave him a lot of confidence. Sai Kishore was part of team India during the rescheduled test against England at Edgbaston. One of the highlights of his England Tour was Cheteshwar Pujara’s wicket while playing against Leicestershire during the warm up game.

During the interview, he said,”It gives you a lot of confidence and feedback on how the international level is. It’s been a blessing because I’ve been able to bowl at Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma. When I was on these tours of Sri Lanka and West Indies, I was able to look at a lot of players and see where my game stands. If I can trouble these guys, I can trouble all batters.”

He further added,”There’s not much communication when it comes to international cricket. I know I’m in the mix but nothing is given to you directly. When I watch the matches, I feel I’m ready and equipped enough. In international cricket, it’s about handling the pressure of the match, the pressure of the media, the pressure of the surroundings, because everyone has the skill set. So it’ll be exciting to see where my career goes, I’ll only know where I stand once it happens.”
