In 2022, test cricket provided some excellent enjoyment, with a few players coming to the fore for their outstanding performances. The Men’s Test Team of the Year 2022 is unveiled by the ICC, and there were several notable omissions and obvious inclusions.

Due to injury and physical concerns, Bumrah hasn’t been a consistent member of Team India’s lineup since July of last year. He missed the Asia Cup last year due to a back injury, and after returning to the T20I series against Australia in September, he also missed the T20 World Cup. He was eliminated from the Australian series after just two games.
