For the cricket fans around the world, the ICC revealed the revamped schedule for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The much-awaited match between India and Pakistan, initially planned for October 15 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, has been moved to the previous day. The game is now set to take place on October 14, at the same venue.
With this, the England vs Afghanistan match which was scheduled to play on October 14 in Delhi, has been rescheduled to October 15. Not only this, Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad has been shifted from Thursday, October 12, to Tuesday, October 10.
For the upcoming World Cup 2023, due to security concerns with the commencement of the Navratri festival the dates of these important matches have been rescheduled.
India’s final group-stage match against the Netherlands has been rescheduled from November 11 to November 12, and it will be a day-night saga at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Similarly, Australia’s match against South Africa in Lucknow will now occur a day earlier, on Thursday, October 12, instead of the initially planned October 13.
