International Cricket Council announced the women’s cricketer of the year 2022. Australian all-rounder Tahlia McGrath won this award because of her outstanding performance throughout the year 2022. Her extraordinary contribution to the team always helped her team to clinch the match.
Tahila McGrath played 16 T20I matches this year, scoring 435 runs at a blazing average of 62.14 and scalping 13 wickets to her name.
Tahila McGrath won this reward by leaving behind the Indian swashbuckler Smriti Mandhana, Pakistani all-rounder Nida Dar, and New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine to become the ICC Women’s T20I cricketer of the year.
In the commonwealth games, she scored 128 runs in five matches with an average of 42.66. For this performance in this tournament, she was awarded as the ICC Women’s player of the month in August 2022.
