“ICC Always Takes India’s Side….” Ramiz Raja’s Lethal Comment On ICC

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has produced a lethal comment on International Cricket Council (ICC) on ongoing issues between BCCI and PCB for Asia Cup 2023 and brutally stated that ICC always takes a neutral side whenever there is some matter between India and Pakistan.

“They are circumspect and not forthcoming because India produces the entire ICC wealth, and so their position, unfortunately, is compromised as a result, I don’t think it’s going to change unless we have a resolve and commitment in every cricket board and our cricket fraternity works towards making it happen,” Ramiz Raja said.

Earlier, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, the president of ACC, said that the Indian team wouldn’t travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023 and requested to change the venue to neutral. After this, Ramiz Raja commented that if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan, we will leave the Asia Cup 2023 and the forthcoming ODI World Cup 2023, which is scheduled to be played in India.

PCB chief Ramiz Raja also added some points for India vs. Pakistan match. He stated that everyone wanted to watch Pakistan vs. India match and that we needed to play each other.

“Of course we need to play each other. Who wouldn’t want to watch India versus Pakistan? There shouldn’t be an excuse for Pakistan not playing in India or India not playing in Pakistan,” Ramiz added.

Asia Cricket Council (ACC) needs to hold a meeting to settle the Asia Cup 2023 venue issues, and the reports say they will hold a meeting to solve both national issues soon.

India and Pakistan played the bilateral series in 2012/13 when they played three ODIs, and two T20Is, and India visited Pakistan in 2008 for Asia Cup. But due to political reasons and player safety concerns, Indian team management has requested to set a neutral venue for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.
