“I want to bowl with…”Jasprit Bumrah has a huge say on his bowling for Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians pace sensation Jasprit bumrah said that he is more eager to bowl with a new ball and make an early impact in the match . Jasprit Bumrah played a huge role with the ball as Mumbai Indians defeated the Punjab Kings in a thrilling encounter by nine runs.

In spite of having 193 runs under the bank, the Mumbai Indians poor bowling performance almost let this match slip from their hands. However, it was Jasprit Bumrah and Gerald Coetzee who picked up three wickets each to set up a thrilling victory.

In this season, the batters have performed brilliantly with the ball, but it’s the bowling that’s putting the Mumbai Indians down.
Speaking at his post-match presentation, Jasprit Bumrah said that he wants to bowl more with the new ball and create an early mark in the match.

Jasprit Bumrah said, “I want to make an impact early on! In this format, the ball swings for two overs, and you want to make use of that. In Test cricket, you can keep bowling, but in this format, you need to make the most of it while it lasts. When I want to bowl more, I play Test cricket. That fulfills my desires.”

Bumrah further said that T-20 cricket is getting tougher for the bowlers, especially with things like time restrictions and impact rules coming into play. So he wants himself to be the best, keeping this in mind.

Jasprit Bumrah said, “This format is a little difficult for the bowlers because the batsmanship is going over, plus the time restrictions and the Impact Player rule. What you can do is prepare your best and back yourself. Go out there and give your best. I try to relay messages from wherever I am on the field. You don’t want to give too many messages in the heat of the moment.”
