Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of India, shocked the fans on August 15, 2020, with an unexpected Instagram post announcing his retirement from international cricket. It’s not as if there weren’t rumours that MS Dhoni would retire from cricket after his time with India, but with the Covid-19 outbreak halting play, many people thought he might play again for India when the game resumed.Just after the 30-minutes of MS Dhoni retirement , the former Indian middle order batter and one of the best fielders Suresh Raina also announced his retirement which shocked the Indian cricket fans to the core.

The duo has played most number of matches together and in IPL as well they made many memories together playing for Chennai Super Kings. Before announcing his retirement with Dhoni, Suresh Raina then had played his last match against England back in 2018.Raina’s retirement at a relatively young age left the fans stunned. He’s a great leader and a great human being.”Raina was crucial to India’s victory at the 2011 World Cup, contributing significantly in the team’s lower-middle order. In a 13-year international career, the superstar left-handed batter played for the team in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20Is.
